First a few notes.
It has been so long since I have done a The Week in Kids post that I have decided to stop numbering them.
Also, I have a new camera. It has a kid/pet feature that helps me take pictures of wiggling objects, but it is not perfect. You'll see what I am talking about in a second.
This Week...
Catherine finally let me get her hair out of her eyes.
Also this week....
We played "chase" with Daddy.
Daddy always wins. But not right away.
Also this week...
There was breakfast.
Catherine is politely, emphatically, stubbornly refusing to sit in her highchair. You can see it looking forlornly on in the back ground.
Next week, maybe there will be photos of her in her new booster seat.
Also this week...
There was a little team work.
Daddy took this picture. I don't know how he gets them to do this.
Also this week...
Cate managed to find, and then put on, her brother's old barn boots.
Once she caught me with the camera, dancing ensued, and this was the best I could do to capture it
See you next week!
Love these pictures! I can't believe how big Cate is getting.
ReplyDeleteShe misses her Uncle Justin.
ReplyDeleteHOW in the world did you get that itty bitty ponytail holder in Cate's hair? I have tried these on multiple occasions and Grace always ends up looking like a disheveled rooster. Her hair sticks straight up (well, the part that actually makes it into the holder - the rest just sticks out all over the place.)
ReplyDeleteNext post: Ponytails in one easy step. Or even four easy steps. I don't care, as long as the word easy is in there.
What on earth can I say in a comment beyond you are Jewish and you have three beautiful kids and a husband that has you well under control.
ReplyDeleteI give you a hug. But I must remove you from my life.
I ADORE the dancing in BARN BOOTS!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah!
Dad's have special powers. There's a comedienne here who sings a song about Daddy coming home from work. It goes, "And here he comes, the children's entertainer!"
ReplyDeleteMy husband also comes home and sees me frazzled, sees the house in a mess, says a mere few words and the kids spring into action. Thank GOD!
I love the barn boot picture, how it captured the motion. All the pictures are full of love. I especially like the cereal bowl as big as the head...makes me miss my little boy in jammies, still warm from his bed. Oh, such memories!
