I am 41 years old. Hubband had a vasectomy six months ago. My very last post was about how I had come to the end of the gestation/lactation portion of my life. You see, it would be impossible, but... Does this look like two pink lines to you?
So, to re-cap for my regular readers -- Three kids, one income, Hubband to get laid off next month and lose medical benefits, family to move to another state and live in attic, 41, vasectomy, two pink lines. Oh, and we won't all fit in one car. But we're good. Or we will be as soon as we are done being stunned. I'll write more some other time, once my breathing has returned to normal.
And, yeah, I posted a picture of something upon which I urinated.
This is a Theme Thursday post. Follow the link to see other wonderful writers' take on the theme.
oh my! congratulations?!?
ReplyDeletehappy tt!
Guess the vasectomy didn't take.
ReplyDeleteIt'll all be good. Ask most people about their unplanned little ones, and they'll smile.
And so will you...after you pick up your bottom lip. And just think, how much more you'll have to talk about on the blog. :)
Congratulations!
Oh My God!! Congratulations!! I want one too.... It was obviously meant to be xx
ReplyDeleteGoodness me...that is definitely two lines...but it's exciting, no?

It might be time to dust off the Degree scroll, your fourth might provide a College fund for all of them. Congrats, and I have to say bloody well done.
ReplyDeleteOkay...God DOES have a sense of humor and he DOES read your blog...especially the one about having reached that happy place!!!!
ReplyDeleteNumber four!!!!! I will most certainly say CONGRATS to you and Hubband dear Tracey!
Just goes to show you if it's not one thing...then you're a mother.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Children are a wonderful blessing. :D
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness...congrats!! and here you've been leaving blog comments for me thinking i'm pregnant, and meanwhile it's been you all along! hehe:)
ReplyDeleteWow! And I was feeling all safe with my tubes tied. I'm sure everything is turned upside down for you. Don't worry. YOu will get through this. It is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteWow, I am so glad you didn't end your last sentence in a preposition!
ReplyDeleteTory's car is going to die. Should we buy your wagon and let you guys get a bigger car? I hadn't even thought of that when you told me. Gosh this is really funny. That baby is going to be a very special gift to you I just know it. Congrats!
Thank you everyone for your supportive words.
ReplyDeleteWe are thrilled to add to our family. In fact, we are more at peace than the last three times. Those children were 'our' decision (and what if we had made a bad one?) But, this, is God's baby. We are just along for the ride.
And, Vince, I have never gotten a "bloody-well done" before. It is kind of nice.
Well Tracey, bloody well done is normally accompanied with a couple or four hard pats on the back. A bit like for a fellow afraid of water doing a length of a pool. Or someone that's done a Marathon and not the lunatics that run one on a weekly basis, but someone that passes the finish line three hours after the bunch.
ReplyDeleteBetween the two of you, you must be firing shots like the broadside of USS New Jersey.
Love is expandable, just like the belly. My fourth was received as such a gift by the older ones, and now, at eight, she has us all in her basket, loving us back, hard, and looking after us all. If somebody cries she is the first to put a concerned hand on their shoulder.
ReplyDeleteOh, my! Congratulations! I think you can take this as a sign that good things are coming your way!
ReplyDeleteMy post for Pink, close to my heart, is up here.
Surprises like that are the greatest...Congratulations!
