Why I Don't Follow Fashion

When choosing a loose-fit jean, avoid the high waist and roomy crotch associated with the dreaded Mom Jean.  'The high pocket placement of Mom Jeans can create pancake butt, and that extra ease around the stomach accentuates a tummy,' says Moan Hanoch, Creative Director of Citizens of Humanity.*

I don't know what this means, but it makes me feel old...and fat...and bad about myself.

In other news, I have moved to northern Idaho.  More on the later.  Maybe.  Or, not.  I can't promise.

  1. Jeans are probably the most common item of clothing (besides underwear) and the item I like most. Why is it SO hard to find a pair that fits just like I want it to fit and that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Is that too much to ask? :)

Moving around like this means you have the hard task of changing your changing your profile.

I hope all is well with you and your family, and that you "will" decide to post again about the new home and other tidbits about yourself and the young ones.

    1. Anita, I have always figured that when calculated in dollars per times worn, jeans are pretty economical. But there is a bit of stick shock. And one must avoid the dreaded "pancake butt."

  2. I've gone to 'comment moderation' now because of all these 'anonymous robots' as you have here. I get so many now. Bah!
Anyway, Hi! So you have moved to northern Idaho! Please, at some time, let us know how it is going. I assumed you moved there for work. Do you like it? Are you making friends despite the Mom Jean problem...haha...? Jeans..hmm..I found some Levi's at Sears, and the fit is awesome. They are stretchy and comfortable, and I got them half-off the $75 sticker price. I bought two pairs.
I hope you, Hubband and the three kiddoes are well!

    1. Taking away the "Anonymous" option worked for me in getting rid of the spam robots.

    Hope you are well!
