I think it's marvelous. Home is definitely what you make of it! We lived in a garage for 4 years. We are now in a loft. We feel like a king and queen in a palace!!

JenJenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06683486631901017529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5656878898503709829.post-14672248648899616942010-01-16T14:04:35.112-08:002010-01-16T14:04:35.112-08:00Yes, I too live in a beige house. I grew up in a character home but like LadyCat says I longed to live in a 'normal' neighbourhood in a 'normal' house, like the 'normal' kids. (But ever since I was a teen spending hours looking through Architectural Digest at my friend's house I have preferred character houses).

I do know what a great room is - along with the real estate agent's favourite selling point: granite countertops :)Rebecca S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16409572371302109142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5656878898503709829.post-89767655867856362992010-01-15T10:36:32.286-08:002010-01-15T10:36:32.286-08:00I have never met anyone else who says 'hubband...I have never met anyone else who says 'hubband'. But I didn't like it at all. Most of my friends from school lived in newer neighborhoods in the burbs. It was my greatest wish to live there. too. In junior high, being like everyone else is very important : ) But now I love the old houses with character. I guess age does make us wiser.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5656878898503709829.post-47920121591882496892010-01-14T23:00:38.620-08:002010-01-14T23:00:38.620-08:00A good tribute to your house.
